Phase levels

The phase levels range from Basic status to phase IV, with basic being the lowest level and phase IV being the highest. New intakes are placed on phase II and remain there for a period of up to one week. Phase levels can be lost or obtained by earning points. Residents can earn up to 204 points per week, depending on their behavior and attitude. At the end of the week, (Saturday night) a staff member totals up the number o points the resident has earned that week. The number of points determines the phase level for the following week.

Chores

Each day, residents are assigned chores that they must complete. The number of chores is determined by the count in the unit.
